TREATMENTS

We draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including brainspotting, EMDR, and BrainTap, to provide personalized, effective care tailored to each client's unique needs.

About

EMDR

EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a therapy used to help individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. It involves a unique technique of moving the eyes in a specific way while recalling traumatic memories, aiming to alter the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors associated with these memories.

EMDR therapy involves accessing traumatic memories in a controlled manner, using specific eye movements and guided instructions. This process helps reprocess the traumatic event, repairing the mental injury caused by the memory. As a result, recollections of the event no longer evoke the intense emotional response of reliving it, making the associated feelings more manageable.

BRAInspotting

Brainspotting is a therapeutic approach designed to aid individuals in processing and healing from traumatic or distressing experiences. It employs a distinctive technique of finding a gaze spot, a visual and bodily cue associated with traumatic memories, aiming to change the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors related to these memories.

Brainspotting therapy involves accessing traumatic memories in a structured way, using specific visual field positions and therapist guidance. This procedure aids in reprocessing the traumatic event, amending the mental harm caused by the memory. Consequently, recollections of the incident no longer trigger the powerful emotional response of reliving it, making the associated emotions more manageable.

About

BRAINTAP

BrainTap is a therapeutic approach engineered to aid individuals in processing and overcoming stressful or distressing experiences. It uses a unique technique that combines light, sound, and vibration, aiming to adjust the emotions, thoughts, or behaviors associated with these memories.

BrainTap therapy involves accessing stress and trauma responses in a structured way, using specific light and sound patterns and guided relaxation. This process aids in reprogramming the response to stress or trauma, rectifying the mental disturbance caused by the memory. As a result, recollections of the incident no longer provoke the profound emotional response of reliving it, rendering the associated emotions more manageable.
